The TL-NXAP6000-GP2 supports IEEE 802.11ax (Wi-Fi 6), a next-generation Wi-Fi standard that builds on existing wireless standards and is designed to address the growing demand for high-bandwidth, multi-user, high-speed, and low-latency Internet access. Based on the current Wi-Fi 5 standard, the TL-NXAP6000-GP2 integrates next-generation features such as OFDMA, UL MU-MIMO, 1024QAM, and 160MHz bandwidth to provide faster speed, higher capacity, and more concurrent connections, and can be widely used in immersive applications such as VR/AR/MR, enterprise 4K high-definition conference and office, and high-density access scenarios for indoor and outdoor massive terminals.
1. Four major improvements brought by Wi-Fi 6 features
The wireless speed has been increased to 6Gbps
With 1024QAM, Long OFDM Symbol, and 160M bandwidth technology, 802.11ax boosts the wireless rate up to 6Gbps to meet the needs of high-speed applications such as VR/AR, 4K, and even 8K streaming.
Network capacity increases
802.11ax uses OFDMA, Spatial Reuse, and DL/UL MU-MIMO technologies to greatly increase the system capacity compared with 802.11ac, and supports TWT technology, allowing APs to uniformly schedule terminal wake-up and sleep activities, reducing conflicts between terminals and unnecessary wake-up times, and meeting the concurrent access requirements of massive terminal devices in crowded scenarios.
