TL-SF1009PF is an unmanaged PoE switch independently developed by TP-LINK, with 8 100 Gigabit ports supporting IEEE 802.3af standard PoE power supply, a single port PoE power of 15.4W, and a maximum PoE output power of 57W. The device supports three working modes: standard switching, 1~4 extensions (10Mbps), and 1~8 extensions (10Mbps). Extended mode enables long-distance data and power transmission between standard PSE power supply equipment and standard PD loads. As a PoE power supply device, it can automatically detect and identify the powered device that meets the standard and supply it with network cables. Plug-and-play, no configuration required, simple and convenient to use, meet the needs of high-density PoE power supply network environment, suitable for hotels, campuses, factory dormitories, small and medium-sized enterprises to build a cost-effective network.

PoE power supply function
- Eight 10/100 Base-T RJ45 ports support PoE power supply to meet the requirements of PoE power supply in scenarios such as visual security, teleconferencing systems, and wireless coverage.
- In line with the IEEE 802.3af PoE power supply standard, the maximum PoE output power of the whole machine is 57W, and the maximum PoE output power of a single port is 15.4W.
- Automatically identify PoE devices for power supply without damaging non-PoE devices.
- PoE ports support a priority mechanism to ensure the power supply of high-priority ports when the remaining power is insufficient, so as to prevent devices from overloading.
Three modes of operation
- The standard switching mode ---- all ports communicate freely, which is suitable for common data transmission environment;
- 1~4 extended (10Mbps) mode---- designed for monitoring application scenarios, No. 1~4 PoE ports can transmit data and power for standard PD loads such as IPC over long distances, and the transmission distance can reach 200~300m. (Differences in the quality of network cables will affect the transmission distance)
- 1~8 extension (10Mbps) mode---- designed for monitoring application scenarios, No. 1~8 PoE ports can transmit data and power for standard PD loads such as IPC over long distances, and the transmission distance can reach 200~300m.
